Nacio en San Juan de la Maguana Republica Dominicana en 1976. Hijo del reconocido escultor y pintor Jose Nicolas Jimenez, quien le formara artisticamente. Realizo sus estudios en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de su ciudad natal donde recibio distintos premios en pintura y dibujo. Luego curso en la Escuela ncional de Bellas Artes de Santo Domingo por dos años.

Ha sido un maestro y artista sanjuanero que ha formado a muchas artistas renombrados de la region, proporcionandoles tambien a Luigi los instrumento y elemento para la elaboracion de un arte integrado a las nuevas expresiones contemporaneas.
